What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist position at Alaphia Care?

Duties:
- Perform mobile phlebotomy services by traveling to patient's homes or other designated locations
- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or other approved methods
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of collected specimens
- Safely transport specimens to the laboratory for processing and analysis
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service throughout the phlebotomy process
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and clinical laboratory procedures
- Demonstrated experience in venipuncture and specimen collection processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing patient service with compassion and empathy
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile setting, managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate specimen collection, labeling, and documentation
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as well as reliable transportation for travel between locations
