Job Summary:
As an FP&A and Data Analyst reporting to the FP&A Manager, your role will encompass providing robust support in data analysis, new systems, and finance. You will work in close conjunction with business unit heads to foster the development of incisive data analytics, reporting, implementation of emerging technologies (including BI and AI), formulating strategies, and generating financial projections.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in financial forecasting, reporting, and tracking of operational metrics.
- Analyze financial data and construct financial models for decision-making support.
- Conduct in-depth client profitability analyses and scrutinize departmental costs.
- Develop acumen to identify changes and opportunities for business improvement through automation.
- Perform historical data analysis, variance analysis, trend identification, and develop recommendations for enhancements.
- Facilitate collaboration with the FP&A Manager, CFO, Controller, and accounting team for precise and prompt financial reporting.
- Take part the cost analysis by establishing and enforcing policies and protocols.
- Provide analysis of trends, forecasts, and advocate actions for optimization.
- Foster process improvements, including the formulation of standard and ad-hoc reports, analytical tools, and dashboards.
- Elevate productivity through the development of automated reporting and forecasting tools, incorporating BI and AI where applicable.
- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comparisons.
- Engage in M&A analysis, consolidation reporting, due diligence, and integration.
- Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to deliver profound and timely insights into business performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis, scrutinize market trends, and provide articulate commentary to the Leadership team.
- Actively participate in digital Finance transformation by pinpointing areas for technology incorporation and process streamlining, with a focus on AI and data analytics solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Data Analysis, process automation, Accounting, or FP&A.
