The North Salt Lake City Utah distribution center has an opening for an Accounting Clerk .
Job Description:
To perform general accounting duties, to include vendor invoice account coding, distribution center billings, report updates, and other duties supporting the distribution center accounting function.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years accounting and/or related accounting experience.
- General knowledge of accounting concepts and account reconciliation.
- Accounts Payable and/or general accounting experience.
- Computer proficient; knowledge of Microsoft Systems especially Excel
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize workload to complete tasks timely and accurately.
- Strong aptitude with numbers, attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills; oral and written.
- Team Player.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reconcile vendor statements to ledger or other accounting records.
- Sort, code, obtain approvals and submit payments for posting & payment processing.
- Research vendor/invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor files.
- Support physical inventory activities, as needed.
- Track and reconcile the following income items: pallets, recycling, meat scrap
- Account analysis
- Compile and post reports for management.
- Assist in month end reporting procedures.
- Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
- Timely and accurately completing all assigned duties and documentation from the Accounting Management team.
