What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastry Chef de Partie position at Albi?
Albi is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie who is highly motivated and passionate about cooking to join our tight knit team. The Pastry CDP is responsible for nightly dessert service at Albi, as well as some prep for daytime sister cafe/bakery, YELLOW. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of fine dining experience, a desire to learn, and is able to maintain a consistent high level of execution. Chef Rafidi takes inspiration from his family’s Palestinian roots, bringing to the table an experience that melds the ancient tradition of the region’s coal-fired cuisine with local, seasonal, Mid-Atlantic ingredients and a refined culinary acumen. Daytime cafe, YELLOW, offers pita sandwiches, mezze, pastries which meld Levantine ingredients and flavors with classic French technique, and inventive coffee offerings.
