What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock/Studio Associate position at ALC?
We are seeking a dynamic and well-organized individual to join our Pacific Palisades location. In this role you will support the overall customer experience by receiving shipments and accurately maintaining inventory records. You will take ownership of the stockroom and assist in Inventory Management. You will also be assisting the Studio Services Manager with consignment management, event support, and floor support.
This role reports directly into the Store Manager.
Areas of Responsibilities:
· Process new shipment and transfer in/out merchandise
· Oversee and execute markdowns in a timely and accurate manner
· Help manage the dry cleaning and damage process
· Organize stockroom by categories and in appropriate shelves
· Maintain a clean and efficient stockroom, with garbage removed and supplies organized
· Assist the Studio Services Manger with processing consignment boxes in/out
· Help the Studio Services Manager with packing and unpacking shipment for trunk shows
· May assist on sales floor during peak times, during events, and as assigned
· Complete tasks listed on daily task sheet
Qualifications:
· 2 years working retail (or related work) experience preferred
· Basic computer skills and familiarity with P.O.S. systems
· Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally more
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Availability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and have flexibility to store operating hours to meet the needs of the business
· Must be vaccinated and boosted.
