Under the direction of the Operations Manager, maintains all aspects of the health care delivery site, including quality, efficiency, and the supervision of staff to ensure the purpose, mission, and values of the health center are met.

- Manages site staff and, where applicable, co-supervises medical support staff. Serves as a liaison between medical providers and the Chief Medical Officer.
- Monitors and maintains, the assigned site budget.
- Determines the most effective method for assigning responsibilities and duties to site employees.
- In collaboration with Human Resources, reviews and provides input into job descriptions, procedures and other documentation related to the organization of the site.
- Assigns duties and responsibilities. Coaches, mentors and develops staff, including managing new employee onboarding to ensure employees are provided with the needed information, tools and resources to effectively meet job and organizational goals.
- Ensures that employees are aware of and adhere to all company policies and procedures, and conveys all senior management communications and directives.
- Acts as first point of contact, with site providers to ensure important information is shared with management and others as appropriate to advance mutual understanding and cooperation.
- Reviews site work for thoroughness and accuracy, and provides specific instructions to supervisors and employees on completion of tasks/responsibilities.
- Collaborates with Human Resources in conducting performance appraisals for immediate staff:
- Completes performance appraisal documentation.
- Meets with employees to review documentation and provide feedback.
- In collaboration with Human Resources, develops and monitors employee development plans as needed.
- Oversees, participates in, and approves other site employee reviews as needed
- Collaborates with Human Resources in conducting hiring, disciplinary, and termination procedures:
- Interviews candidates and makes final recommendations to Human Resources.
- In collaboration with Human Resources, implements disciplinary action with troubled employees.
- In collaboration with Human Resources, initiates proper termination procedures when employee dismissal is imminent.
- Manages clinical site.
- Evaluates clinic activities and conditions to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service, including janitorial performance and site checks/walk throughs, and submits appropriate documentation and check lists.
- Ensures inventory and supplies are appropriately purchased, stocked, and used in the clinic.
- Ensures clinic site, including clinic equipment, is being properly maintained and equipment is replaced as appropriate.
- Monitors the incident report, staff compliance, and job performance; takes appropriate corrective action when necessary.
- Addresses escalated patient complaints.
- Identifies and evaluates training needs for super user for practice management and electronic health record software as appropriate.
- Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the site. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track goal accomplishment.
- Review monthly financial reports, identify and understand variances, and participate in corrective action plans.
Required Training & Experience:
- Possesses a current CPR certification.
- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Electronic Health Records system
- Possesses a current State of Michigan driver’s license and valid automobile insurance.
