Summary

As a Pantry Cook, you'll have the opportunity to work with an exceptional culinary team in a stunning Pacific Northwest setting. Our kitchen is renowned for its locally sourced ingredients and innovative menus that highlight the region's finest flavors.

We're looking for someone who can...

• Prepare various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, recipes, quality standards, and kitchen policies.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat-top range, and refrigeration equipment.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnishing for all dishes.
• Handle, store, and rotate products properly.
• Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 years' commercial cooking experience required
• Flexible schedule availability required, including weekends
• Culinary Arts degree is a plus

Permits & Certifications

• WA Food Worker Card required (within 14 days after hire)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Physical Demands. While performing this job, employees are regularly required to talk, hear, stand for extended periods, walk, sit, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, bend, twist, push, pull, or crouch. Employees must occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include near and distant vision, and the job may require sustained visual and mental concentration.
• Work Environment. Conditions are those of a controlled, indoor commercial kitchen environment. Employees working in this position experience variations in temperature, a moderate level of noise, and certain cleaning chemicals in the work environment with safety measures in place.

Pay, Hours & Status

• Pay | $20 ~ $24/hr ($18 - $22/hr base plus hourly bonus avg)
• Hours | Up to 40 per week (Full-Time)
• Status | Seasonal (expected through September, 2024)
