We are actively recruiting for a Employee Relations Specialist to join the Employee Relations Team to ensure fair, equitable, and consistent treatment to all employees while creating an engaged and safe work environment. The Employee Relations Specialist collaborates with the HR Business Partners to advise leaders on matters of performance, conflict, conduct, and discipline. This integral position will help drive an integrated employee relations (ER) strategy that aligns with Aledade’s mission and overall business strategy.

 

This is a full-time role reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Employment with the flexibility of working from home.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing support and advice to managers regarding performance management, employee discipline, policy interpretation, and termination processes.
  • Makes recommendations to managers with regard to all employee corrective actions and performance management. Providing substantive review and editing of corrective action documentation.
  • Leads internal investigations related to a variety of employee relations issues, including workplace conflicts, allegations of harassment, discrimination, wage & hour and other policy violations.
  • Manages the employee relations case management system to review and track case progress and maintain investigation files. 
  • Stays updated on recent laws on relevant employment related laws including state requirements impacting employees (minimum wage, salary posting requirement, final pay requirements, etc.).
  • Tracks relevant employee data, metrics & trends to help inform process improvements and approaches.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience);
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in employee relations, HR Business Partner, or labor/employment law; 
  • Highly skilled in workplace investigations, negotiation, and conflict management;
  • Deep understanding of US employment law, EEO regulations, workplace anti-discrimination and accommodations related laws, including Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA and their state law equivalents;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion;
  • Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
