Alene Candles is seeking a dynamic Business Process Analyst. The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for leveraging their manufacturing and Operations experience to implement best in class repeatable processes for the Operations Group at Alene Candles; to include Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, and Quality teams. This role will be accountable for partnering with functional and technical teams to optimize business processes and project managing process improvement initiatives across the Operations Group.
The ideal candidate will have a knack for troubleshooting, problem preventing, and demonstrated effectiveness to deliver change to the organization. Attributes and capabilities for success include long-term vision, project management, business analysis, plant and/or production management, attention to detail, ability to motivate individuals and teams, and be a skilled collaborator. This role will work closely with all Operation Groups as well as IT, Business Development, Account Management, and Finance to ensure end-to-end process integration. The Business Process Analyst should also have extensive experience with ERP systems as well as shop floor systems. Position reports to the Operations Business Process Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop strong understanding of all business processes and workflows, and how the ERP system impacts those processes.
- Collaborate with Plant Managers to identify areas that are struggling with adopting a process, assess challenges, provide feedback on supplemental training, and make recommendations on next steps.
- Apply developed subject matter expertise to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines.
- Function as the Project Manager for process and system enhancement within the Alene Operations Team to ensure the project meets scope, time, budget, and quality expectations.
- During new plant opening, function as the Project Manager; create and manage project plan, timeline, task identification, delivery teams and drive opening to completion.
- Work directly with the functional area managers and process doers to establish best practice processes that maximize the use of the IFS ERP system.
- Work with the IT teams, ERP vendor and 3rd party support vendors to develop system solutions for process issues or improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements designed to increase efficiency and reduce opportunities for errors.
