As a Member Management Specialist you are part of a larger client services team that is responsible for providing administrative support to an Employee Benefits Client Team. The Member Management Specialist communicates regularly with all client team members, works to enhance the image of Lighthouse Group both internally and externally by maintaining an executive level presence in all interactions, maintains the deepest level of confidentiality and demonstrates mature discretion while acting as a liaison with other departments, staff, and the public. The Member Management Specialist is a leader in Lighthouse culture bringing positivity and respect to all aspects of the job.
• Handle day to day processing of enrollment requests through carriers and carrier websites
• Handle day to day processing of enrollment requests through an enrollment system - Employee Navigator
• Work with client teams on solving enrollment needs and concerns
• Master internal client management systems including Benefit Point
• Perform projects and tasks as delegated by Team Lead
• Follow proper procedures for insurance standards
• Protect confidential information
• Create and maintain a positive work environment – build trust, open communication, creative thinking & cohesive teamwork
• Support Lighthouse Group culture through leading by example
• Performs other duties and projects as required
• Prior insurance experience is helpful in this position, but not necessary
• Insurance license must be obtained within the first six months of employment
• Candidates must be detail oriented, dependable, accurate, flexible and able to take initiative
• Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals
• Strong proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Ability to use both verbal and written communication skills effectively in both group and one-on-one sessions
• Skill and ability to read and understand enrollment materials
