Acara solutions is hiring for a Equipment Maintenance Technician role with a leading force within the Semi conductor company in Hudson, NH!
What you will do:
- Performs hands-on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of industrial automated fabrication equipment daily.
- Documents routine preventive maintenance on PM checklists, record data if applicable and maintain completed checklist/history in tool logbook.
- Communicates issues with third party equipment vendors as needed to expedite troubleshooting and repairs.
- Sustains and improves Preventative Maintenance Program on all fabrication/processing equipment.
- Authors accurate documentation for the operation and maintenance of various automated industrial equipment.
- Test, tune, and adjust equipment to obtain optimum operating performance.
- Report spare part requirements.
- Determines type of repairs to be performed, approves, and suggests modifications to equipment, and analyzes results to evaluate equipment performance.
- Develops or improves techniques to meet quality, function, and cost standards.
- Works with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
- Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and follow through with repairs of manufacturing equipment and electronic controls.
- Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks using CMMS system.
- Responds to unplanned urgent needs in having equipment repairs performed minimizing down time.
- Utilized a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair equipment.
What you will get:
Shift: BEN (Back-End Nights) - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday
Hours: : 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Pay: $30 - $35/hr. DOE
Length of Contract: Approx 7 months (through April)
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years experience with general equipment maintenance experience and a strong manufacturing background.
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and controls systems.
- Experience working with detailed work instructions and reading & interpreting blueprints & drawings.
- Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
- ISO 9001 and ISO 16949 experience.
- Read and understand technical/repair manuals and vendor resources.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment and expert knowledge and use of power and hand tools
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- AA degree, Vocational High School Technical training or technical trade certificate is a plus.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow 5S methodology, LEAN a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including MES & SAP, preferred
