Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Ft. Worth, TX. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
Performs identified Move/Add/Change activity to include all required network modifications. May include moving/adding connection in network closet and terminating port connections at the end location (conference room, desk, office, etc.). May include necessary changes within the switch to accommodate port activation.
Assist with network design
Support other network personnel as required with the installation/modification of network infrastructure and components
Basic network monitoring.
Sets up and ensures operability of systems and hardware components prior to field deployment. Analyzes failed equipment, performs standard repairs, and tests of components or equipment.
Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drop
Duties includeinstalling, testing, maintaining, and repairing telephones.
Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops)
Assists with telecommunications equipment and telephone switching equipment related to processing and transmission
Analyzes existing networks and then designs and creates customized networks and computer systems to meet business needs and ensure smooth proper running
This is a break/fix role supporting windows and MAC

5 years of experience with network connectivity assessment (troubleshooting and setups)
years of experience with technical experience consisting of operation systems such as Windows, Unix/Linux, and Apple
5 years of experience with telecommunications and networking
5 years of experience with Mac and windows breakfix
Additional Information:
Clean driving record as an MVR might be ran. Please note, you must be comfortable potentially driving company vehicles/cars from site to site.
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
Possible lifting may be required up to 50 lbs.
Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
