Solution Architect

Job Summary:

Are you passionate about strategy and technology? Are you self-organizing, motivated, and client focused? We are looking for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for leading and writing compelling proposals to grow Aleut’s customer base. This includes partnering with internal and external teams to develop scalable, flexible, and cutting-edge assets, solutions, and thought leadership pieces to support our clients on their digital transformation journey.

Essential Job Functions:

• Serve as an Opportunity Director and lead of all aspects of proposal development (solutioning, writing, pricing, etc.)
• Analyze RFIs and RFPs for customer requirements and develop a solution that fits the needs of the customer
• Understand competitive landscape and develop price to win strategies to submit winning proposals
• Develop thought leadership pieces to include white papers, lead prototypes, and proofs of concepts relevant to opportunities

·         Approach IT solutions from multiple perspectives (such as business, organization, security, data, and technology)

• Understand new technology solutions to present design and implementation details to customers

·         Able to execute within the small business regulations, specifically those related to the SBA 8(a) program

Qualifications:

• 5 years of overall experience involving with IT solutions delivery, capture, and/or technical proposal management across Federal agencies
• Extensive experience developing white papers, RFI responses, and proposals
• Experience as a Technology Solution Architect in support of government CIO/CTO organizations
• Experience and knowledge of systems involving web, microservices, containerization, DevSecOps, and low-code/no-code platforms

·         Ability to obtain a security clearance

·         Bachelor’s degree

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Great writing skills involving customer-ready presentations, proposal content, and technical documentation
• Great presentation skills to different audience including senior-level clients, business SMEs and developers
• Ability to work as a self-starter, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel (up to 20%) to meet with clients and teaming partners, support proposal efforts, and attend conferences.

Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
