Intern, Grand Rapids, MIWe are looking to hire students interested in a Construction Management Internship opportunity at our Grand Rapids, MI office. We offer opportunities to work on a variety of transportation projects with public and private clients.
Responsibilities vary upon available client projects, they may include:
- Preparation of plans, specifications, and project designs utilizing CAD and integrated design software
- Assisting with field assignments including construction observation and surveying assistance
- Conducting research as necessary to project(s)
- Perform clerical tasks as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
- Current undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor of Science in an applicable engineering field or construction management area
- Must be flexible with schedule, allowing weekend work or working out-of-town if necessary
- Must be willing to work outside in good and inclement weather
- Familiarity with CAD integrated software a plus
- MDOT experience and/or certifications a plus
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent work ethic and exude a positive attitude
- Great organization and prioritization abilities
- Good driving record and valid driver's license
