Primary Purpose:
Assist Teaching and Learning Department in providing support to campuses and central office administration on all data management software and data associated with local and state assessments. This position ensures the accuracy of schoolwide data, assists with the design of solutions for managing and summarizing information related to district and campus data. Facilitates the timely and accurate production of reports, dashboards for campuses and District Instructional Support Center staff. Support data-driven decision making in ensuring all students have access to learning environments that meet their needs. Contribute to promotion of a comprehensive assessment program of school and student outcomes through use of tools to effectively analyze and visualize data. Support active and timely data reporting and analysis through clearing, maintaining, and processing district data from a variety of sources. Administer the procedures and reporting of district-wide data systems and platforms. Play a vital role in scaling creative ideas through use of data story-telling.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of personal computers
- Knowledge of software packages for data management and analysis
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (primarily MS Excel and PowerPoint experience)
- Knowledge of cataloging and archiving documents for electronic distribution using Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of basic scanning and reporting of assessment results
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:
- Three (3) experience in school district or campus administrative position preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of successful experience with school and district level data analysis.
- Experience creating dashboards for district and school users.
- Three (3) years of successful teaching experience is preferred.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists the Teaching and Learning Department in establishing and implementing assessment, procedures, timelines and reporting.
- Assists in organizing, reviewing, and distributing assessments and results.
- Streamline assessment data to decrease processing time.
- Assists with technical support in the evaluation process.
- Assists with technical support in the collection and analysis of data.
- Assists in preparing results of assessment for various levels of analysis (district, campus, and grade levels).
- Works with the Teaching and Learning Department and the Executive Director of School Improvement in ensuring appropriate file uploads and data are maintained in the data management system.
- Maintains a good working knowledge of all state and federal assessment and college readiness assessments and the campus/district accountability implications.
- Ensure confidentiality of student data and comply with all ethical and security protocols.
- Compile local assessment data for school improvement reporting needs.
- Create and deliver visualized data stories, flow charts, and graphs in an organized and meaningful way.
- Identifies trends, patterns, strengths, and weaknesses in data sets that communicate insights.
- Participates in professional development.
- Provides professional learning opportunities to district and campus level staff around the use of district data software programs and other areas as may be required by the Teaching and Learning Department.
- Performs other assigned duties as may be required by Research, Evaluation, and Innovation.
