Banyan Treatment Centers is recruiting a full-time Resisted Nurse (RN) to join our team in Waelder, TX as a Staff Nurse. This position reports to the Nursing Supervisor and Director of Nursing.
Schedules Available:
- 12 hours shifts
- Night shift
Pay range:
- RN: $32-40/hr

The Staff Nurse completes assigned nursing related services for each client. They are responsible for nursing assessments, providing routine nursing care, review of medication logs and assisting in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.
Essential Functions:
- Completes assigned nursing related services for each client.
- Responsible for nursing assessments
- Provides routine nursing care
- Reviews medication logs
- Assists in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.
- Facilitates medication education
- Incorporates nursing and medical issues into clients treatment plan
- Completes nursing documentation in accordance to facility and State requirements
- Administers medications, as needed
Qualifications:
- Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health, preferred.
- License to practice Nursing in the state of Texas as a Registered Nurse
- Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of Nursing.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline.
