Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator with Certifications to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to perform tasks such as digging, bulldozing, paving, and more. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, dump trucks, and more
- Perform tasks such as digging trenches, grading land, and clearing debris
- Use equipment to complete projects such as road construction, excavation, and landscaping
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated in a safe manner
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery and equipment
- Proficiency in operating specific equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, and dump trucks
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or project plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of outdoor work in various weather conditions
