Job Posting for Part-time - Faculty - Writing Center at Allan Hancock College
This position is for a PT faculty to work in the college’s Writing Center (Santa Maria and/or Lompoc) this fall who can work all or part of the following hours. The AHC Writing Center supports students at all levels and all stages of their writing process.

Some of the services the Writing Center provides include:- one-on-one writing support at all stages of the writing process for reading and writing assignments for any class;
- assistance in all steps of the writing process from brainstorming, organizing, thesis development, MLA documentation, and more;
- assistance for students at all levels of writing; and
- workshops focused on writing skills that can be applied to writing assignments in all courses.
Santa Maria Campus:
Tuesdays: 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Thursday: 12 – 2 p.m.
Lompoc Valley Center:
Tuesday: 9 a.m. -12 p.m.
SALARY:
Lecture Rate: $57.72 to $77.18 per hour depending upon education and experience
Lab Rate: $50.28 to $67.20 per hour depending upon education and experience
Activity Rate: $37.13 to $50.62 per hour depending upon education and experience
