Summary
This position is responsible for providing billing services to contracted providers, maintaining adequate work schedules for all billing staff, overseeing provider aging, creating effective workflows for the billers, and assuring work is completed by billers.
Essential Duties
1. Manages all aspects of AllCare eHealth Billing Services, including initial customer contact/marketing, kick off meeting, and monthly meetings with customers.
2. Manage billing staff, provider aging oversight, account audits, creates effective workflows for billing staff and relieve billing staff during vacation and sick days
3. Prepares and submits third-party payer claims (all billings other than direct patient billings) within 2 days of receiving the requisite claims information from Client.
Supervisor Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Billing department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Experience
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in healthcare billing is required.
Knowledge of PrimeSuite EHR, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Biller (CPB) required.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Computer Skills
Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
