Allegria Village is hiring a full-time HR Assistant! This candidate must have exceptional customer service skills and be a knowledgeable, resourceful team player!
The position is 9a-5p, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.
This is an exempt position; compensation is commensurate to previous work experiences and education.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Screening incoming resumes and applications for prospective candidates and contacting those eligible for interviews.
- Providing shortlists of qualified candidates to the hiring managers.
- Updating job openings and closings as per the departmental hiring managers.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation set-up and administration.
- Other duties, projects and tasks may be occasionally assigned to the HR Assistant.
