Job Summary:
The Lab Coordinator oversees the lab and any lab personnel to ensure that allergy serums are formulated, schedules are produced, and serums are mixed properly for all CT's clinics.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Lab Coordinator oversees the lab and any lab personnel to ensure that allergy serums are formulated, schedules are produced, and serums are mixed properly for all CT's clinics.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ordering clinical supplies for the region's clinics
- Mix allergy serums
- Delegate job duties, manage time off, approve time cards of any lab support personnel
- Formulate serums
- Order supplies and antigens for clinics
- Provide Doctors/Providers with any questions on serums and formulas
- Verify all paperwork, formulas, serum volumes before releasing to the clinics
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Support clinical staff in LPN role as needed at any of the region's clinics
- Comply with USP Chapter 797 Standards
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Detail oriented
- The ability to multitask and be hands on and good time management skills
- Strong math skills
- Ability to communicate with providers in a proactive and professional manner
- Ability to formulate serums
Education and Experience:
- Medical experience as an MA, LPN, or RN
- Allergy experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year experience in related field
- Experience with EMR and Billing systems
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
