What you will do:
The Floor technician is responsible for maintaining all conditions of the facility floors. The floors within the facility include but not limited to tile, wood, carpet, etc. The floor technician will operate floor equipment that includes, buffing, scrubbing, mopping, sweeping, cleaning, deep cleaning, repairing, removing, etc. The floor techinican will need to have experience in this position and have knowledge on floor maintenance and a clean and sanitary environment in a long term care setting. The floor techinican will work in the housekeeping department and will directly report to the EVS Supervisor. The floor technician may have other duties assigned but in general will be responsible for all upkeep and maintenance of all of the facility floors, including the resident rooms.
What you need:
- High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
- (1) year experience or related experience performing floor technician related work
- Knowledge of the maintenance of flooring and different type of floors
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- A clear background check
