We are hiring for a Billing Operations Specialist!
Schedule: Monday-Friday. This is a full-time, in-office/in-person position working in our Raleigh, NC office.
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $20/hr based on experience.
The Billing Operations Specialist is responsible for the manual processing and data entry of vendor and client fees/invoicing. The Billing Services Specialist will partner with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Operations, and Agent Research departments as needed to accomplish daily goals and objectives.

The position is sedentary and requires sitting for long periods of time while working on a computer or using other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds.

The Billing Operations Specialist is responsible for the manual processing and data entry of vendor and client fees/invoicing. The Billing Services Specialist will partner with the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Operations, and Agent Research departments as needed to accomplish daily goals and objectives.
- Ensure vendor and client fees and invoices with supporting backup documents are timely, accurate, and complete by the customer’s guidelines and expectations.
- Identify, address, and resolve issues including verification of fees and invoices.
- Responds to regularly occurring internal and external requests for information.
- Participate in regular client and vendor meetings as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments for the resolution of issues with support documentation and invoices, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Job Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 1 - 3 years’ progressive billing experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Must be computer proficient in MS Office programs and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel; prior experience in the usage of web-based billing software is required.
- Must exhibit a solid professional business image with a team player attitude.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively with teammates and other departments.
