SUMMARY
Responsible for collaborating with the Service Team, carriers and clients on the development and execution of client-centered strategies including processing renewals, conducting and analyzing marketing, preparing financial summaries, implementation, communication and ongoing support. Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Provides ongoing administrative support and customer service to both client and the Service Team.• Assists Service Team and client in researching and resolving eligibility, claims and billing issues.• Coordinates with the Service Team to understand strategy for client. Executes renewal strategy including negotiations, plans options and marketing requests as applicable. Should gain comprehensive familiarity with client’s current details and history.• Collaborates with all current insurance carriers to gather, review and validate all information related to assigned clients for renewal analysis and marketing purposes. Prepare and present renewal and marketing options to the Service Team as directed.• Completes all final sold documentation and communication (internal client files, confirmations to carriers, agency management system, etc…) and other renewal closure duties as required.• Gathers, reviews, and validates all information related to assigned clients for open enrollment and implementation.• Assists with creating and peer reviewing client and employee-facing communication pieces to ensure information is accurate and meets quality standards.• Organizes and participates in client Open Enrollment meetings and benefit/wellness fairs to learn and develop presentation skills.• Collects and reviews carrier contracts to identify errors and ensure appropriate corrections are made prior to execution.• Stays up to date on the latest legislative changes and assists Service Team with completing annual regulatory disclosures/requirements. • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceOne (1) or more years Employee Benefits experience Experience with Benefits Administration platforms Experience working with General Agency partners Valid insurance license (or must be obtained within 90-120 days of employment)Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
