Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities:

- Conduct root cause analysis of safety incidents and accidents to identify contributing factors and develop corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including descriptions of the event, investigation findings, and recommended preventive measures.
- Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including DOT.
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and safe work practices.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training sessions, and other safety-related activities, including DOT.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to workplace safety.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and writing detailed reports.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in using computer software for report writing and data analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,650.00 - $65,000.00 per year
