Allied Machine & Engineering, headquartered in Dover, Ohio, is a leading manufacturer of holemaking and finishing cutting tool systems.

Allied is currently looking for an Operator Set Up (4-Axis OD Grind) to set up and operate 4-Axis OD Grind machines producing high-quality parts.
- Schedule : 5 pm - 5 am. Work 3 days in week 1 and four days in week 2. Schedule repeats every two weeks.
- Shift Premium Differential : $4.00
Requirements
- Set up, operate, and adjust 4-Axis OD Grind machines
- Perform inspection of parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
- Follow work instructions and blueprints
- Maintain a high-quality standard and rate of efficiency
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices
- Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Detail oriented
- Basic math skills
- Ability to multi-task
Experience :
- Previous machining experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools, preferred
