What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relief Concierge / Door Person position at Allied Partners?
Summary:
Building Service Employees are to provide residents with a high level of security and service at all times.
Essential Functions:
PORTER:
· Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned common areas within and around property, including mopping/striping/waxing floors, cleaning
DOORMAN/CONCIERGE:
• Open entry door for all persons entering/exiting the building and assist with luggage, bags, packages, etc., when necessary.
• Meet, greet and direct residents and guests.
• Verify all visitors, guests, contractors, and deliveries for admittance into the building.
• Answer incoming calls and intercom and provide information as requested.
• Closely monitor building security surveillance system and report any issues to the Resident Manager.
• Receive, log, and distribute packages using BuildingLink system.
• Log out and distribute keys upon request using KeyLink system to persons with permission to enter only.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and shovel snow in front of building, when necessary.
· May be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed and when requested.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Minimum Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience in a customer service industry.
• Experience with working in high end residential properties preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and high attention to detail.
• Must be able to demonstrate good judgment and be client/customer focused.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Team player with the ability to take direction.
• Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships.
• Ability to lift very heavy items, such as but not limited to rain mats, trash bags, salt bags, luggage, grocery bags, boxes, packages, dry cleaning.
