Job Profile Summary: Greet patients, visitors and business associates in person or by phone. Assist and direct them as needed. Support the department registration, data and administrative needs.
Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities

Receive patients, visitors and business associates.
- Provide a welcoming environment.
- Provide direction and assistance, offer escort as needed.
- Receive messages, flowers, newspapers, and other patient-related deliveries.
- Assure availability of wheelchairs and waiting room supplies.
- Access patient electronic chart only based on need related to this service function.
- May do patient check-in within Excellian or other program, and conduct check-in procedures.
- May assist patients to other departments.
- May enter orders into Excellian, and schedule patient for a service.

Answer calls and inquiries.
- Screen, verify, and relay messages to department personnel and physicians.
- May monitor Excellian messages folders.
- May perform department-specific tasks such as administrative support, data collection, room scheduling, clerical support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School or GED required
- 2 to 5 Years in customer service experience required and
- 2 to 5 Years experience with computers and technology required and
- 2 to 5 Years experience with medical terminology required

Salary : $32,500 - $41,200
