Director of Plant Operations – Health Care Facility - Base Salary to 95k/year – Worcester, MA
- Our client, an assisted living facility located in Worcester, MA is in the market for a Director of Plant Operations which is the main employee that leads the facility and housekeeping operation for the entire site. The organization has a 90 unit facility with over 120 clients that live on site daily. We are looking for a hands on manager that knows how to coordinate work, lead a team and able to find solutions daily. The facility was recently rehabbed in the past two years and is in great shape. We are looking at compensation in the range of $85-95k plus strong benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces [excluding Labs]
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance help desk tickets
- Manage, operate, monitor and maintain utilities including electrical modifications/repairs, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning)
- Executes the department budget and takes appropriate action to ensure the department’s overall compliance with the budget (i.e., overtime usage, supplies, daily schedules, etc.). Develops and monitors purchasing/inventory control procedures; order supplies and equipment from approved vendors.
- Coordinate daily plant services within assigned facility. Assures that personnel are performing tasks in accordance with established procedures and deadlines. Update facility Executive Director as needed.
- Creates and executes effective staffing and scheduling patterns within facility guidelines. Review and approve department timesheets weekly, adhering to established deadline.
- Troubleshoot equipment/systems issues/ installation, and process equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in maintenance/facilities
- Building management services and systems
- Experience in industrial/commercial/health care facilities is a must
- Well organized, able to operate Microsoft Suites, strong preventative maintenance record keeping
Compensation:
- Base Salary to 95k/year dependent on experience
