To be an Inside Sales Representative you must have your Property and Casualty (P&C) License, and Allstate will help you earn it. The cost of the training and the exam are fully covered by Allstate. Already licensed? Even better! Allstate awards a $1,000 cash incentive for those who already hold an active P&C License, paid after 6 months of employment (License Bonus does not apply to Allstate re-hires).
Job Responsibilities
As a full-time Inside Sales Representative, you will:
• Work from home in a call center environment and assist new customers with navigating the complete sales process
• Deliver and ensure an effortless experience by cross-selling and serving as an advisor to our future Allstate customers
• Drive sales growth for the organization in various modes of interaction including inbound, outbound, and digital (i.e., chat, messaging, texting, etc.) to leads already interested in Allstate products
• Use strong sales skills to deliver a proven sales method that uncovers customer needs, identifies gaps in coverage and recommends solutions to fully protect customers
Compensation includes:
• $16.00 Hourly Base ($33,280 Annual) + monthly performance-based incentive
- Average monthly incentive payout for 2020 was $1,417* ($17,004 Annual), average annualized pay with incentive in 2020 was $50,284*
*incentive based on productivity; incentive payments are not guaranteed and are governed by the terms of the applicable commission plan which is subject to change at Allstate’s discretion
• Pay differentials may apply for shifts and bilingual
• Paid training and licensing
Job Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Spanish/English Bilingual Fluency
- 1-2 years sales or related experience preferred
- Must pass Property & Casualty exam in the state you reside within required timeframe to continue with employment- travel to exam location required
- Must be available for 7 weeks of paid training
- This position is not available for Michigan, California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii residents

- Home Internet service must be stable (50 Mbps download and 5Mbps upload internet service required
- Access to hardware (plug-in) ethernet/network cable to your modern/router during your shift
- Wi-Fi connection is not allowed
- Cannot use satellite, hotspots, MIFI devices, wireless AC wall plug-in extenders, repeaters, boosters, and/or pods
- Space for desk equipment and two monitors
Information Security Minimum Requirements
- Established or dedicated work area at home, ensuring:
- No one can see your screens, keyboards or Allstate documents
- Free from potential hazards affecting equipment (e.g. pets, plants, water, etc.)
- Workspace is not vulnerable to theft
- Free from distractions and interruptions
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
