The Opportunity
This Analyst position is on the Product and Strategy team which supports the Consumer Auto Originations channel. This role will support Ally’s auto finance products and be responsible for implementing related promotions and programs. You will be required to respond quickly to business opportunities as they arise while maintaining day-to-day operational activities.
The Work Itself
- Evaluate, process, and implement promotion requests
- Document and prioritize new initiatives: identify and record business requirements, conduct impact assessments, track action items, resolve any issues, monitor work schedule to ensure initiative is delivered on schedule
- Identify strategies and tactics to deliver business results based on customer demand and market dynamics
- Serve as expert to define product enhancements
- Determine ways to execute solutions for product gaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional working teams to achieve results
- Maintain compliance with risk controls and governance requirements
- Write and publish communications to announce promotions and programs
- Utilize data reporting and analysis to update/maintain internal reports
- Manage the team’s Sharepoint sites
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Complete special projects/assignments as needed
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience
- 2 years in financial services or similar industry
- Strong understanding of consumer auto finance principles
- Knowledge of Ally’s products and related policies (preferred)
- Ability to support multiple assignments concurrently and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, self-starter, able to work independently
- Critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to perform technical based activities
- Sharepoint and Date reporting knowledge
- Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio)
