What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator position at Alpas Wellness?
The Group Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of Alpas' Substance Abuse curriculum for patients in our residential recovery program. The curriculum, and training, will be provided for the facilitator to ensure quality and consistency in its delivery. There may be occasion for the Group Facilitator to work with the Clinical Director to develop new curriculum.
The facilitator will be responsible for 15-20 1-hour groups per week. The facilitator will also be required to attend staff meetings and trainings as assigned.
Required Credentials:
- CAC-AD, CSC-AD, AD-TRAINEE, IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND
Specific Responsibilities:
- Ensure that groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet desired learning objectives.
- Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, in and outside the group setting.
- Complete group notes and all other paperwork as assigned.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
