Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for efficient production of quality products, including:
Responsibilities
- Independently sets up machine for specific job.
- Makes adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth operation of machine.
- Produces quality pieces with image properly aligned and with quality imprint.
- Run one sample for approval before processing the entire order
- Threading the right colors at each needles
- Properly placing the plastic hoops on the garments
- Placement follow the embroidery specifications
- Verify the order number
- Make sure the right goods are being used
- Operates heat seal press
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Excellent hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to read, and interpret job orders.
- Ability to listen effectively.
- Ability to effectively convey ideas and information to others.
- Ability to count accurately.
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a range of practical problems.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Flexibility with work schedule; available to work overtime.
- Must be able to consistently stand, walk, stoop, climb, bend, lift material or equipment that may be heavy
