Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of simultaneous new product launches. Also responsible for contract and pricing administration support.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for populating new product data elements and images into Customer portals, as well as, verifying existing information is accurate and updating as needed.
  • Conduct daily review of EDI data for accuracy and advise respective trading partners of any errors and corrections required for resubmission.
  • Manage ETS (Essentially the Same) information and conduct periodic reviews with NIB and Alphapointe sales reps to update ETS in preparation for Annual Price Change submissions.
  • Support Sales Operations Manager with New Product Development activities including: competitive pricing surveys, freight calculations, addition notice tracking, and changes to Procurement List.
  • With direction from Sales Operations Manager, conduct preliminary market analysis of new product opportunities including, product performance characteristics, key features and competitive price comparisons.
  • Provide price analyses, complete annual price change proposal forms, create/distribute price lists and maintain system price file data.
  • Support contract and document management as it relates to customer contracts and sub-contractor partnership agreements to ensure proper signatures are obtained, filed and renewal milestones are denoted with reminder notices to appropriate team members.
  • Coordinate release of new inventory items and bills of materials into internal Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. Ensure product performance data and customer specification documents are obtained and organized in applicable network directory, web or other repository locations.
  • Facilitate product change and product obsolescence actions with diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Complete NAFTA and COO certificates.
  • Participate in the improvement of department methodologies and processes used within the company.
  • Maintain vendor portal information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Associate degree required. Bachelor degree preferred. Preferably in business/ operations management.
  • Computer literate (skills assessment may be administered) – Microsoft office products. Above average skills with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficient use of Internet for research.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to manage spreadsheets: collect, organize, analyze and format data for reports.
  • Ability to work independently and with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with federal procurement guidelines and processes is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • The position operates within a fast-paced, multi-priority, matrix- type environment.
  • Minimal travel may be required
