Swimming Pool Lifeguard

Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Lifeguards. As a Lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool. This is a rewarding position that requires strong swimming skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Responsibilities: - Monitor pool activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for all guests - Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unsafe behavior - Provide excellent guest service by assisting with inquiries, providing information, and addressing concerns - Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR when necessary - Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality - Assist with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment setup - Attend regular training sessions to maintain lifeguard certification and stay updated on safety protocols Requirements: - Must be a certified Lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications - Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues in various water depths - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly in emergency situations - Physical stamina to stand or sit for extended periods of time and perform heavy lifting when necessary - Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures is preferred but not required We offer competitive pay rates for Lifeguards, along with opportunities for career advancement within our organization. Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
