Job Description

• The PBIS Coach will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to provide positive support and interventions, leading the effort to build and maintain a strong, positive, achievement-oriented school culture that nurtures, inspires, and empowers our students to become strong, successful adults with 21st-century skills.

• The PBIS Coach role will be about 80% of the job. This role is also a key year-round position, with about 20% of the position being a dropout prevention specialist, ensuring that ALL students are successful throughout the year as well as in the summer transition from year to year.

• Seeking candidates who have experience in PBIS Coach programs within educational settings.

• The PBIS Coach will manage the behavior programs for the school and model how to establish strong, mutually respectful relationships with students, staff, and families.

• This position is a visible presence in all areas of the school and is responsible for all issues relating to the well-being of the students during their time at the school.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in education or a closely related field
• PBIS training credentials and experience*
• Experience successfully managing projects and events
• Possession of - ability to attain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
