Altabank, the largest community bank in Utah, is hiring for Operations Trainer for the Utah County area. The ideal candidate is focused on providing the best customer service in every situation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates learning programs/events to support the operations group and specifically the Relationship Bankers position, including: New hire training job skill, systems and product, and customer experience training
- Delivers training in both a classroom and virtual settings
- Help reconciles employee training data and reports via tracking system
- Conducts training needs assessments, including conferring with management and staff, to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and changes in policies and procedures.
- Communicates with Operations Managers to identify topics or individuals that need additional training resources
- Continually updates material and ensures that it is consistent with Branch processes
- Identifies new learning content and methods that can impact employee knowledge growth
- Shadows and reverse shadows new hire
Schedule: Generally, Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 with accommodations being given to matching new hires schedule. You will also need the ability to travel and train new hires within their home branch somewhere in the SLC, and occ in Utah County.
The entry-rate for this position is $19.00 /hour (calculated for American Fork, UT). All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.

QUALIFICATIONS:

More than a year of frontline teller and new accounts experience
Ability to facilitate/deliver instructor-led training in person and via virtual platforms
Self-motivated; strives for quality and researches new techniques
Measures new hire progress and adjusts as needed to ensure timely proficiency
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-directed with exceptional follow-through
Experience with the following software and applications: Internal Frontline Banking Applications, Microsoft Office and Teams
Strong client service, good listening, and ability to work well with a diverse group of internal customers
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Technical, able to manage and run virtual meeting software and internal banking systems
