Responsibilities
The Database Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of the data strategy to meet the needs of the marketing organization. The incumbent functions as the marketing data steward and will be responsible for working with other departments to determine best approach for providing insights into business related issues as they relate to marketing. He/she will then be responsible for gathering requirements and then analyzing, reporting and presenting those findings with actionable insights. To accomplish this, the incumbent must be intimately familiar with marketing-generated data (online and offline), external vendor data and data created and stored by other internal groups including sales, operations and metrics organization. The incumbent will need to access raw data using Microstrategy, SAS and/or SQL programming and then aggregate to summarize results. In addition, the position is also responsible for ensuring data is available for analysis and campaign execution by other members in the group including process integrity for key database systems including SAS Enterprise Guide.
