The Corporate Development team works closely Executive Leadership Team to help define & articulate business strategy and support oversight and execution of key enterprise strategic initiatives and other large / complex programs. This team works closely with Finance, Operations, Data Analytics, Technology, and other key stakeholders to drive the execution of M&A, strategic partnership agreements and any other related Corporate Development projects. The team also supports key decision-making forums, senior executive/Board meetings, Treasury functions, FP&A/budget processes, and external financial communications / investor relations.
The team partners with Senior Leaders in the various business and functional areas to support development and execution of strategic initiatives within those areas. The team's role typically includes framing and analyzing complex business problems and potential M&A scenarios, developing recommendations, partnering with line managers to drive execution, facilitating governance and communication processes, and playing a key role in informing and influencing decision making.
Conducting research and data analysis to inform business decisions and strategic evaluations
* Developing analyses and recommendations that advance the company's overall business strategy
* Supporting the execution of acquisitions / disposals and structuring of strategic partnerships, including managing external capital markets and relevant industry relationships
* Supporting the execution of M&A transactions through market screening, due diligence, financial evaluation, legal structuring and related documentation drafting
* Support other banking-related activities, including Treasury debt capital market and cash flow management activity
* Articulating the company's goals and priorities across multiple stakeholder groups to create transparency and confidence in the business strategy
* Evaluating new growth opportunities and perform market entry / exit assessments
* Developing plans and frameworks to evaluate and analyze strategic hypotheses
* Constructing forecasts and analytical models to quantify business opportunities, including sophisticated valuation / return on capital analysis
* Monitoring and analyzing industry trends and market changes impacting the cable / telecoms / mobile / advertising industries
* Developing competitive intelligence on broad scope of players across the industry
* Support the creation of investor presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, banks, brokers, and investors.
* Support the production of annual reports, SEC filings, proxy statements, and offering memorandums.
We are looking for outstanding individuals with excellent intellectual & analytical capabilities, pragmatic problem solving skills, strong communications & influencing capabilities, a robust strategy & change management toolkit and a passion to effect change across the organization at the most senior levels.
* Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
* 3-5 years in a top-tier management consulting firm
* Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and quantitative abilities
* Strong communication skills including experience in developing C-suite presentations
* Experience in financial services preferred
* Experience in telecoms / cable industry preferred
* Collaborative work style / leadership presence with ability to effectively interact with & earn trust of peers and senior management across the organization
* Project and process management skills, including proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Executive presence; self-starter with a keen sense of ownership and commitment to the work, and a passion to deliver results

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is$200,000.00-$237,500.00/ year.
