Position Description:
As a member of our outside sales force, you will be assigned to cover a dedicated territory. We'll provide comprehensive training for you to engage with small and medium-sized businesses across various industries within your territory. You will utilize our custom Salesforce CRM to curate leads and then set in-person meetings with business owners, benefits managers, and decision-makers, introducing them to industry-leading supplemental insurance solutions for their teams. You will often work with the employees in your clients' businesses either individually or by conducting presentations for groups ranging from 5 to 100 individuals.
This is a full-time sales position, but you will set your own schedule and keep your own work hours each week. You are expected to set and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets with your sales team manager and be self-motivated and driven enough to reach them with little to no supervision. You will track and record your sales statistics daily, and will be responsible for submitting all sales to the corporate office for processing for your clients in a timely manner. You will be expected to attend all team or company meetings as required (mostly remote; occasionally in-person).While there's an option to travel for collaboration with team members in other territories, it's not mandatory.
Core Position Responsibilities:
Utilize our customized Salesforce CRM to curate leads and generate clients while expanding your professional network within your territory and neighboring communities
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text as needed
Schedule meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their insurance needs
Attend scheduled calls and meetings with your sales manager and team
Personally visit new businesses, develop relationships with local business owners, follow up on referral leads, and reservice existing clients
Build and nurture your own client portfolio
Collaborate with your sales team manager to set monthly and quarterly sales targets for yourself
Plan and adhere to your weekly schedule and working hours; submit your schedule to your sales team manager each week
Record daily work stats and sales activity updates at the end of each work day

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Pass a high-level pre-employment background check
Active Drivers License and reliable transportation
Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state (or willing to obtain - licensing reimbursement available)
Bachelor's degree or minimum of 4 years post-high school work experience (candidates within 6 months of degree completion or less than 4 years of professional work experience with relevant sales or athletic background will be considered)
