Our client is a Real Estate Private Equity Firm that is looking to hire a Staff Accountant for thier Corporate Accounting team.

Position: Corporate Staff Accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain the books and records of corporate entities;
- Process corporate deposits, AP checks;
- Track management fees, coordinate property reimbursements;
- Maintain various schedules (bank list, REO schedule, loan schedule)
- Maintain chart of accounts and bank set up in Yardi;
- Form and maintain legal entities;
- Maintain and support treasury relationship and function
- Assist with corporate tax returns;
- Assist with audits (external, 401K, worker’s comp, etc.)
ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
- Participate in financing (financial modeling, market research, etc.)
- Investor reporting (quarterly reporting, calculating returns, etc.)
- Other Ad Hoc reports/analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Seeking someone with 1-2 years of experience
- Must be familiar with the all aspects of accounting, including generation of monthly statements, cash receipts, journal entries, bank reconciliations, monthly financial reports.
- Accounting degree required
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Distinctive financial and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate and present ideas in a professional and highly demanding environment
- Excellent writing skills
- Detail oriented
- Self motivated, personable and team player with experience in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills for internal and external use
- Commitment to values and strong business ethics are required

Pay: $69,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
