Description
I&E Technician
Responsibilities:
- Must be safety minded and adhere to all safety rules policies
- Must be a self-starter and able to perform duties with little to no supervision
- Must be willing to work overtime and call-outs as needed
- Perform electrical work from 24v DC to 4160 AC
- Must be able to read manuals, P&IDs, loop drawings
- Keep accurate records, update files and maintain the plants PM system
- Must be able to work and calibrate Analyzers, PHs,02 LELs, phosgene monitors
- Calibration of various types of IDPs, limits, SOVs, magnetic switches
- Knowledge of DCS & PLCs
- Instrument calibration and troubleshooting, including (LT,FT,TT,DPT, switches-level, pressure and flow, flow meters, micro motions, signets, ABBS
- Familiar with VFDs, motor starters
- Interfacing with engineering, operations and maintenance personnel
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, 2 year associates Degree in technical field or technical training preferred
- 3 years I&E Experience
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and calibration of analyzers, transmitters, control valves, etc.
- Basic understanding of the facility’s control system
- Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
