We are hiring a Machine Oiler to join our team! This position performs routine preventative maintenance on production machines, specifically CNC. Also other routine maintenance as directed by supervisor
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Maintains proper housekeeping of oil room
- Maintains oil handling cart cleanliness and performs proper daily checks (brakes, lights, pumps, etc.)
- Maintains proper oil levels in CNC equipment
- Utilizes proper oils in equipment
- Document and record the usage of all oils by machine and turn in paper work.
- Monitor usage trends to highlight machines that are developing increased usage
- General inspection of oil reservoirs to insure operating properly
- Clean oil reservoirs as needed to maintain cleanliness of oil
- Write work orders as needed to notify maintenance of developing leaks / usage
- Performs routine preventative maintenance (i.e., oil changes, filters for motors, fans and pumps, greasing of chip conveyors, chains, bearings)
- Performs routine equipment checks for wear or potential mechanical problems
- Inspects equipment for leaks, missing guards, hoses and debris that may create leaks
- Assist with coolant re-circulating system when needed.
- Helps in handling of waste oil, oily socks, etc. and handling of hazards material collections
- Maintains oiler supplies and lubricant stock, performs daily inventory
- Repairs or replaces air lines as needed
- Performs special assignments as delegated
- Assist with coolant & washer checks when needed.
- Running floor scrubber
- Oil and Coolant inventory
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Able to add / subtract (basic math skills), legible hand writing
- Have mechanical aptitude for inspection of mechanical systems
- Able to drive mechanical equipment (fork lift license)
- Basic computer skills required
- Knowledge of liquid measuring devices, previous experience helpful.
