Seattle's most urban winery tasting rooms group (locally owned and operated) is currently seeking a dynamic professional to help us grow our brand and join our team as we continue to grow! Your duties would be to drive sales through creating experiences in-store while helping to build our wine club to create loyalty with those in the local community. Possibility for quick increases in hours, pay, and responsibilities in and out of the tasting room as we continue to grow our operations.
We have three current locations on Capitol Hill, Ballard, and Queen Anne. Our current needs focus the most on Capitol Hill and Ballard but there are many opportunities for additional hours and advancement by working at multiple locations and off-site events immediately and/or in the future.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Greet and Engage Customers
2) Created a Memorable Experience For Customers While Visiting
3) Encourage Customer Loyalty Through Wine Club and Social Media Engagement
4) Prepare Food Orders in Desired Way
5) Learn and Explain Our Wine Story to Share With Customers
6) Learn Basic Wine Knowledge and Be Able to Communicate Varietals and Tastes With Customers
7) Clean Tasting Room as Necessary and Re-Stock Shelves
8) Keep Customer Tabs and Run Customer Orders Through Square
9) Manage and Keep Track of Inventory
10) Assist with Special Events
Requirements:
1) Hours flexible due to growth plans - minimum requirement of 2 shifts/week. Weekends and Weekday Evening Availability Required.
2) Restaurant/Winery/Sales Experience an Asset but Not Required
3) Ability to Lift 40-50 Pound Boxes Consistently
4) Ability to Stand and Walk For Extended Periods as Required by Job Responsibilities
5) Must Be 21 Years of Age
6) Must Obtain and Maintain Washington Food Handlers Card and Class 12 Permit
Pay: Hourly pay depends on experience. Tips and Wine Club Sign-up Bonuses offered.
