Description
- Assists Dispute Resolution team members by creating plans of action and status reports
- Contacts providers to obtain bills and medical reports
- Review and summarize medical reports
- Analyze and develop legal arguments
- Telephone negotiations with providers
- Communicate professionally with clients and providers
- Manage account inventory
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in bill negotiations for California workers' compensation claims.
- IEA certificate or California Certificate of Self Insurance a plus.
- Knowledge of the California Labor Code statutes, Rules and Regulations, case law, and California workers' compensation fee schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Enjoy working within a team setting.
