The Country Coordinator is responsible for coordinating logistical and administrative support internationally. This position will coordinate services with internal and external customers to ensure contractual and corporate requirements are met for the respective workforce. Logistical and supports services may include but are not limited to, coordinating lodging, utilities, transportation, interpretation and communication services.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Be knowledgeable of acceptable organizational business policies and procedures and purchasing methods.
Effectively communicate verbally and/or in writing with international vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedules
Review bid packages, negotiate prices and terms, and recommend and/or assist in the selection of suppliers
Determine method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid
Perform and comprehend price analyses, source selection/justification
Analyze trends
Maintain payment schedules
Prepare and ensure timely payment request in accordance with the pay schedule
Ensure all support services are procured in a cost-efficient manner and in accordance with government compliance regulations and corporate policies
Monitors budget and maintains funding limits
Review requisitions for detail, clarity, compliance, completeness, and obtain additional information when necessary
Coordinate payment of invoices.
Assess and analyze vendor performance to ensure proper adherence to the terms and conditions.
Address defective and/or unacceptable good or services with workforce, vendors, and others to determine source of concern and take corrective action
Create and maintain meticulous records and files for efficient operation
Work closely with operational and purchasing team members to achieve common goals
Work independently with minimum supervision
All other duties as assigned that is reasonably related duties to the job/position
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree and 4-7 years of directly related experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Experience as a procurement and logisticis specialist/coordinator preferred.
Experience working on government contracts and working knowledge of FAR and DFAR.
Experience with creating and maintaining filng system.
Well organized, detail oriented, and ablility to work independently in a fast-pace environment.
Enthusiastic and confident with outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
Keen attention to detail with excellent organizaitonal and time-management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain professional working relationships.
Extensive experience in Microsoft Office software.
