The Presales Engineer plays an active role in the commercial development of Alvest Equipment Services (AES) by making an essential contribution to the preparation of commercial offers, the offers pricing and their presentation. He/she works hands in hands with Business Developers, as well as technical teams for pricing. The Pre Sales Engineer also participates in the improvement of the quotation tools, for which they will also become one of the referents within the AES team. He/she will join a fast-growing international team and may also be involved in the study of acquisition/joint-venture projects, in support of the Vice President of Business Development

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare quotes for maintenance, rental, fleet buy-back, overhauls/conversion to electric and fleet management offers
- Support presales site activities
- Continuous improvement of quotation tools
- Financial modeling of fleet purchase offers
- Act as a technical expert in customer presentation / coordinate the transition between pre-sales specifications and implementation once contracts are awarded
- Determine the technical requirements needed to meet customer goals and act as a liaison between the organizations sales, business development and engineering groups
- Preparation of response elements for calls for tender: analysis tables / financial modeling / response document
- Understands the commercial cost / financial / budget impact of decisions for any products and solutions
- Work closely with the sales / business development team to provide full pre-sales in support of the successful achievement of sales targets while adhering to cost of sales objectives
- Participation in the study of acquisition projects: due-diligence, analysis of figures
- Project a professional and appropriate Company image in all dealings with clients, vendors, business partners and visitors
- Other assignments as designated by the Head of Business Development and Executive team

- Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance or Marketing, or equivalent, 5 related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
