Overview:

Under the direction of the Store Manager, the Support Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of all aspects of Alyssa’s, including supervision and accountability of employees, volunteers, and vendor support. Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.

Duties may include some or all the following:

· Opening and closing the store

· Managing the store’s security alarm system, including ensuring it’s in perfect working condition, enabling it and disabling it when necessary

· Storing and protecting the security alarm codes, changing them when necessary

· Making sure that the store is always clean and properly organized

· Assisting store cashiers in peak periods to include Postal, Sales Floor and maintenance

· Attending to customer requests or inquiries in the store

· Actively participating in store walkthroughs with the Store Manager and District leaders to ensure consistency in the quality of service, operation and visual execution

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. Minimum 1 year retail experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, orienting, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to manipulate; reach with hands and arms and to speak and listen Occasionally this position may be required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
