What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter Helper position at Amada?
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for preparing fabricated parts for painting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Painting preparation-sanding, cleaning and taping parts for painting.
- Tape removal, cleaning and paint touch-up after painting.
- Keeping warehouse clean & well organized.
- Ability to bend, lift, stoop, reach, stand, crawl, and climb.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by actively participating in company safety programs.
- Comply with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned by Management.
SKILLS:
- Knowledgeable in use of hand tools and air tools; willing to work and can follow work instructions; physically lift 15-25 lbs.; related work experience preferred.
