LOCATION
This position is located at our property in Canyon Point, Utah (Page, Arizona).
POSITION OVERVIEW
To assist the Reservations and Revenue Management in effective leadership and oversee the reservations aspects of the department including all operational relationships and communications within the hotel. Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new associates on the team. Alongside the Reservations and Revenue Manager, he/she will oversee daily training and development of each staff member to fulfill the primary functions of call conversion and customer loyalty.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise colleagues within the department to ensure that standards and policies of service are maintained.
- Ensure that all daily departmental reports and correspondence are completed on time and accurately and assist Reservations Manager with other reports as needed.
- To assist the Reservations Manager with organizing and carrying out departmental meetings at least once monthly in order to keep staff members informed and up to date with any issues that are necessary
- Maximize room sales and revenue for the hotel, up selling as the highest priorities.
- Assist in ensuring that all commissions are correct and follow up promptly.
- Handle wholesaler’s requests and bookings.
- Group Support for the Events Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing. Assisting with any reservations needs for the groups.
- Backup for site inspections.
- Perform Manager on Duty shifts if needed.
- Assist with the development of all resort collateral including Amangiri website, fact sheet and brochure material.
- Ensure that sales and marketing strategies focus on niche travel partners and tourism organizations, Amanjunkies, weddings, groups and buyouts, corporate opportunities, and cultural organizations.
- Assist in the creation of special events, deals, promotions, etc.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
- Assistant Reservations Manager will oversee all reservations & PBX staff.
- Conduct regular one-on-one feedback and productivity reviews.

- Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Requires advanced computer proficiency.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a group setting.
- Must be able to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Salary : $49,500 - $62,700
